Homes with Heart is a unique organization which lets holiday home owners donate spare weeks in their property to families who desperately need a break – young families where either a child or parent is terminally ill or has a life-limiting disease.
The onus is on healthcare professionals to refer a family whom they have known for more than a year and to support their need for a break.
Whether you commercially let your holiday home or only use it occasionally, consider putting your spare weeks to good use by letting families have a stress-free holiday together.
The requests are mainly for UK holiday cottages, but overseas property donations are also welcomed. The way it works is that holiday home owners donate a week rent free, but get reimbursed for housekeeping and laundry. You can also donate weeks for charity auctions, with proceeds going to Homes with Heart.
